CTMH...Where have I been?!?

Well, it has been about forever since I last posted.  Things have changed so much for me that I had fallen away from my creating.  I missed it...oh, how I missed CTMH.

The CTMH Convention starts today and it got me thinking that I really need to get back into the swing of things.  As time goes by, I will share tidbits of my life changing journey, but for now, I just wanted to create a card and share it with everyone.

This card features a stamp set called "A Little Note" (A1171) and is colored with  Close To My Heart's featured ShinHan markers.  We already know that this cute little stamp set will not be retiring come September 1st!  The pattern paper is Seaside (X7192) and it will be available through August.

I am so excited about creating again and having the opportunity to help you with your creative journey.  We will be watching all the fun new products being revealed at CTMH Convention 2015.  For Now, Happy Crafting!

Joyful Stars Blog Hop

I know, I know...it has been forever since I lasted posted.  Well, things have been crazy for me in the last several months.

What I thought would be easy has become a mess.  My plan was to share what has been going on and even actually create a card for you.  Time didn't allow so I thought I would at least share something I recently made.

So, if you have arrived here from Betty's blog   Sacrapbookgirl2.blogspot.com you are on the right track.

Well I can't even get the picture posted.  0:(  and it even had a hint about my new life.  Ah well, I will keep trying.  Hope over to Marie's blog njsstampingqueen.blogspot.com and see what she has created.  I am going to keep trying to get a picture posted.  For Now, Happy Crafting!

Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Oh my….what a day I’ve had.  In the near future I will share what has gone on with me (I’m fine…just busy.)  But, it is now time for the Joyful Stars Blog Hop.

If you’ve come here from Meg’s Blog you are on the right track.  This month, I am featuring Sky Lark in my classes.  This card is made using that paper packet and a stamp set called Love This.  It is continued in the new Idea Book and is a terrific stamp set for coloring.  While we are all eagerly awaiting the new CTMH markers, my classes are working with Prisma Pencils and Gamsol.

It’s time to hop on over to Elizabeth’s Blog and see what she has created for us.  I can’t wait for the new CTMH Idea Book.  For Now, Happy Crafting!

Joyful Stars Blog Hop

I can not believe how time marches on.  I’ve been so busy that I just haven’t had a chance to post to my blog.  But that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been creating.
For this month’s hop, I thought I would feature some cards that I made using the stamp set called Banner Wishes (B1438).  If you came here from Nancy’s Blog you are on the right track.  For this first card, I used Banner Wishes and Ivy Lane paper packet (X7178B).
Card 1
The second card uses Balloon Ride (X7180B) and Banner Wishes.
Card 7
I love Banner Wishes.  The set has the banner image and 6 different sentiments that fit inside.  The sentiments can also be used alone.
Since I haven’t posted much in the last few weeks, I thought I would also share some of the things that I have been doing recently…working in my garden..

Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Time just marches on!  It is our Joyful Stars Blog Hop time.  I just love the current CTMH Idea Book.  The papers, the stamps the embellishments are all so much fun to use to create great projects.  And, I love seeing all the wonderful projects that can be made with the goodies.
If you have arrived here from Lori’s Blog, you are on the right track.  For my project, I used Balloon Ride (X7180B) and Banner Wishes (B1438.)  The Hot Air Balloon is from a retired stamp set.
Card 1
I used the balloon from this set rather than the beautiful Hot Air Balloon in the current Idea Book because I wanted to use a coloring technique that is not often used anymore.  I used my Prisma Wax Based Pencils.  Because of the wax in the “lead” the technique used to blend the colors is totally different.  This is one of cards and the technique I will be teaching in May.  I shall share more about the technique as I develop the class.
It is time to head over to Andrea’s Blog to see what she has created for us.  As always, should you get lost along the way, you can always return to Joyce’s Blog to find a list of all the participants.  Enjoy the Hop.  For Now, Happy Crafting!

CTMH … You’re The Best

Yes, I know that it has been a while since I posted.  The truth is I was out of town for several days and did not have the ability to post.  I have to admit that I did have a post ready to go the morning that I left…all I had to do was hit “send.”  Ugh…I overslept and did not want to miss my plane.  So, the post never happened.  Here we are and I am back creating again.
This is a card that I made yesterday for my upcoming card workshop.  It is the warm up card and features the CTMH Stamp Set called Banner Wishes (B1438) and the paper packet called Balloon Ride.
Warm Up Card May 2004
I love Banner Wishes because it contains the frame along with 6 very useful sentiments for cards and scrapbooking.
Now, on to my trip…where did I go?  Sunny Florida!  A dear friend has recently moved there and after all I’ve been through in the past few months I figured I owed it to myself to go for a visit.  Those of you that know me well are aware of my love of birds.  So, I had to share some of the winged friends I saw.

A CTMH Happy Easter

I don’t know about you, but once Easter is here, so is Spring.  My heater just kicked on BUT tomorrow is Easter so it really is Spring.  Keep repeating it to yourself if you live in one of these areas where it is still chilly.
I haven’t had a chance to post must recently but I wanted to share a project we made in our April Workshops.  I have to admit that I got the idea from the recent Joyful Stars Blog Hop.  Krista is so talented and creates such wonderful projects.  Anyway, I modified her idea and made it work as a “bonus” project for my workshops.

The gals all loved making this little Easter Hanger.  Well, time for me to run off to work.  For Now, Happy Crafting!
